Calls for Artists - 2027 Exhibits

CALL FOR PROPOSALS for the 2027 exhibition season

NOTIFICATION of acceptance will be made no later than May 20th, 2026.

Robbin Gallery will present four opportunities to showcase your work in an intimate gallery setting. Robbin Gallery seeks artistically excellent work executed in a variety of media and styles that express a wide range of creative voices. Individual and small group shows are open for January/ February, May/June, August/September and October 2027. 

Just a short distance from downtown Minneapolis, Robbin Gallery is a wonderful exhibit space that will showcase your art. The fixed and flexible wall space can accommodate work up to 60 inches tall. The gallery space will comfortably present 35-45 individual, framed and wired pieces. Podiums of several sizes and heights are also available for standing work. We currently cannot accommodate video or performance works. 

Robbin Gallery hours are Friday & Saturday 1 – 5 pm and Sunday 1 – 4 pm. The Gallery is available at any time during the run of an exhibition to the artist(s) for special events and activities (coordinated through the Gallery Director). The Gallery encourages artist’s demonstration and/or talks. 

The cost is $125 total per month (often this is split between artists in a group) for non members, $75 per month for members. For example, a group of three artists who are members would pay $25 each. The cost is set by the individual artist's membership. The cost helps our non-profit and volunteer organization print posters for the exhibition, promotional costs and cover other basic operational fees. 

EMAIL PROPOSALS along with contact information, a short Artist’s Bio, Website or other social media link, 10 images of work consistent with that which is being proposed (no less than 1200 pixels on the longest side) to ROBBINGALLERY@GMAIL.COM. 

Please indicate if you would accept a pairing with a complimentary artist. If you are submitting a proposal for a small group, please provide details as to the group’s cohesiveness and image(s) for all participants.

*Artists do not have to be members however members receive a discount in gallery rental fees as well as commission rates. Member information is below and at the membership tab. Membership is  welcome all year.
